Sailboat ⎸ MOD 40 ⎸ In kit

The MOD 40 is a powerful and elegant 1.22-meter radio-controlled multihull sailboat, ideal for friendly regattas and recreational sailing. Designed with 3D printing, it combines performance, robustness, and customization for a unique experience on the water.

Designed by Chris Angelduro and carefully printed in our workshop, it comes as a self-assembly kit.

The kit includes:

• 3D print of all hull elements.

Assembly screws, rigging, and sails are not included.

Two material options for the 3D printed hull (excluding appendages):

• ABS-CF: Carbon-reinforced ABS, lighter and more robust, optimizes model performance by offering better agility on the water. This material also exhibits better heat and sun resistance.
• PLA +: PLA + ensures good robustness for easy assembly.

The appendages (rudders, keel fin, foils) are by default printed in PLA+.

This choice allows you to adapt your construction according to your priorities between lightness and strength.
