⛵️ The Pt'Imoca, a smaller sibling of the true IMOCAs, is a miniature remote-controlled version, 84 cm long (hull overall), inspired by the lines of Paul Meilhat's Biotherm sailboat. Designed by Romain Piques, who created its 3D plans, it features a swing keel, retractable foils synchronized with the keel, and a functional wing mast.
💡 Its main advantage: it requires very little external material, as almost all components are 3D printed. No lamination is necessary!
🛠️ The Pt'IMOCA model is delivered as a DIY kit (or ready to sail), offering a complete assembly experience.
Designed to ensure lightness and robustness, and printed by us in our workshop, this model is ideal for enthusiasts who want to master every step of construction.
This kit includes the following elements:
- hull elements with numbered cockpit,
- appendages (foils, keel fin, rudders),
- mast,
- keel bulb (cast lead),
- assembly instructions (available in French, English, and German),
- .stl files of the plans (upon request).
You then need to add the servos, screws, a remote control, and a few carbon tubes to complete the mast, keel, and all the booms.
Two material options for the 3D printed hull (excluding appendages):
- ABS-CF: Carbon-reinforced ABS-CF, lighter and stronger, optimizes the model's performance by offering better agility on the water. This material also offers better heat and sun resistance.
- PLA+: PLA+ ensures good robustness for easy assembly.
The appendages (rudders, keel fin, foils) are printed in PLA+ by default. It is possible to choose the XTCF 20 (carbon PETG) option for greater rigidity.
The kit does not include hull decoration and sails.

NB: The plans with hull serial numbering are produced by Romain Piquès in collaboration with Skip & Sea. The price includes the purchase of these plans from Romain Piquès, the printing of a numbered cockpit, and the sending of the assembly manual in PDF. Optionally, you can also opt for hull decoration. For this, go to the Decoration section.
Length: 84 cm (hull overall) / 92 cm (with bowsprit)
